Home Delivery Grocery

Make a direct impact in your community by helping pack and/or deliver fresh groceries to seniors and people with disabilities across San Francisco. Through our Home Delivered Grocery (HDG) Program—run in partnership with the SF-Marin Food Bank—we provide weekly groceries to more than 500 clients who can cook for themselves but may have difficulty shopping or traveling to a food pantry.

Volunteers help assemble grocery bags and deliver them throughout San Francisco neighborhoods. It’s a meaningful way to connect with fellow volunteers while ensuring our clients have the healthy food, they need to stay independent.

What you’ll do:

  • Pack fresh grocery bags for weekly distribution
  • Deliver groceries directly to clients throughout San Francisco.
  • Help ensure groceries are organized, accurate, and ready for delivery.
  • Provide friendly, reliable service to seniors and people with disabilities.
